The team held our annual Recruit Skate on the 14th of April. It was a big success with a very large group of new talent.

The Millersville  Ice Hockey Team announces their recruit visit and skate will be held on Saturday, April 14, 2012. Players that could be attending Millersville University in 2012, 2013, and 2014 are invited to attend. The day will consist of an informational meeting, a campus tour followed by an on ice game with current team players at our home ice rink, Lancaster Ice Rink. The day will begin at 11:00 AM at the University. If you will be attending please respond back so we know who and how many are attending.

Millersville fell short of the bid to win the GNCHC Championship. It was not at a lack of a valiant effort, after being down 5-1 going in to the third period. Ville was able through a strong comeback to tie the game at 5 only to see their chances slip away with 41 seconds left in regulation play. Congratulation to The College of New Jersey for the win. The future looks bright for Ville Hockey!

Millersville defeated Buckell both games this weekend. With those wins that makes Millersville the number one team in the GNCHC. Playoffs to take place this weekend Feb 17-19 at Protec Ponds in New Jersey, Rutgers University is the host. Millersville is the top seed and will play the number eight seed at 12 noon on Friday Feb 17th.
